Dr. P.A Anitha - A Woman with a Vision.
A Samaritan for destitute, differently abled, handicapped,
legally illiterate or downtrodden as she puts in her CEFEE website Prologue (http://www.cefee.org/who_we_are.html.)
launched on November 14 2011. She is looking after 96000 differently able
children in Malappuram district of Kerala, India. A native of Vytilla a busy
cityhood in Ernakulam, Kerala’s economical hub initially took up her God given
task as a part of her research in the form of a Journalism internship at Sai
seva sangh in Hyderabad. That research changed her objectives for Life. She
started working for the thousands of disabled children in the state. She
started with schools first, then her help extended to their homes. As part of her
initiative CEFEE conducts drive against child abuse, ‘Break the Silence Against Child Abuse’ at
various schools, Kudumbashree and
residential associations across the state. Her aim was to make the differently able
kids to be self surviving. She took them to the cities, metro trains, boats, buses
and parks. She trained them to go out and survive. Additionally the parents
also got trained. Numerous felicitations have been awarded to Dr.P A Mary
Anitha like Women Excellence Award in Social & Community in Unique Times
FMB Award in 2016. She was even invited to Rajbhavan forevery Republic day by
the Governor. However she never attended
it, but send 20 Differently able kids and their mothers to the event. She lives
with her Husband Sabu Thozhuppadan and her three kids Nimrod, Malakke and Moushmi Izabel(apologies
for spelling, not sure how the names been spelled). She has a doctorate in
Ayurveda Tourism Management. An MBA and M phil in entrepreneurship and pusuing
PG in clinical Psychology. She is a faculty member of students police cadet project.
